About

About Welch Physiotherapy & Wellness

Welch Physiotherapy & Wellness was founded with one goal in mind: to provide patients with excellent, one-on-one care and clear direction from the very beginning.

Too often, patients are sent from provider to provider or specialist to specialist before they finally get the care they need. We believe there is a better way. We aim to bridge that gap by thoroughly evaluating your condition, identifying the root of the problem, and determining the best path forward—whether that means physical therapy, another level of care, or simply reassurance that further medical intervention such as medication or surgery may not be necessary.

You can expect a thorough evaluation, evidence-based treatment, and individualized care designed around your specific goals. We continuously reassess your progress to make sure your treatment is working and that you are moving toward the outcomes that matter to you.

Our goal is not simply to treat your pain. It is to help you get back to your hobbies, your family, your workouts, your sport, and the activities you love—while helping you avoid unnecessary medications, procedures, surgeries, and visits to multiple specialists who might just refer you right back to PT.

Ultimately, we hope to save you time, money, and frustration by providing better care and better direction from the start.

Meet Kendall Welch, DPT

Kendall Welch, DPT, is the founder of Welch Physiotherapy & Wellness.

Kendall earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in Biology from Texas Tech University before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Her passion for physical therapy began through her own experience with injury and rehabilitation as a competitive volleyball player. Going through the process herself gave her firsthand insight into the value of time, money, and quality care when recovering from an injury. It also sparked her desire to help others overcome orthopedic and sports-related injuries and return to the activities they enjoy.

After completing her education in Lubbock, Texas, Kendall began her career in outpatient orthopedics in Oklahoma City. She became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2022 and has continued to build her practice around evidence-based care and advanced manual therapy techniques.

Throughout her career, Kendall has worked as both a clinician and manager in outpatient settings, treating patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-operative needs, pelvic health concerns, and chronic pain.

After moving to Tulsa to be closer to family, Kendall created Welch Physiotherapy & Wellness to provide the kind of personalized care she believes every patient deserves.

Outside of the clinic, Kendall enjoys an active lifestyle, including volleyball, pickleball, hiking, and traveling. She especially enjoys getting to know her patients as individuals and helping each person understand their body, overcome what is holding them back, and reach their own goals.
